- Micrillus aegyptiacus group This is the most speciose and most widespread of the species groups of Micrillus, its currently known distribution ranging from the north of the Afropical across the southern Palaearctic into the Oriental region (ASSING 2013, 2018). Three of the eleven revised species have been recorded also from Cambodia.
