  • Hecalus triundosus, sp. n. (Figs 28–35) Type material. Holotype: CHINA: Guangxi Province: ♂, Fangcheng County, Dongzhong, 8. xii. 2001, coll. Zhiqiang He. Paratype: 1 ♂, same data as holotype. Description. Colour. Yellowish green. Frontoclypeus pale brown. Ocelli pale yellowish brown, margined with red brown. Eyes red brown, 1 white stripe medially margined with red brown line. Forewings transparent and veins pale in male. Hind wings hyaline, pale white. Body. Length: male 7.0 mm to tip of the forewing. Vertex rounded anteriorly, little upturned anteriorly. Ocellus close to corresponding eye. Measurements of vertex length: interocular width: pronotal length (mm) 0.83: 1.12: 0.83. Male genitalia: Subgenital plates with 6 setae laterally. Pygofer side subtriangular apically. Aedeagus with pair of processes subapically, curving dorsally; in caudal view, shaft constricted at about 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 of its length in dorsal/ventral view, keeled ventrally; gonopore subapical on ventral side. Female. Unknown. Distribution. China (Guangxi). Etymology. The species name, an adjective, is derived from the Latin word “triundos” referring to the aedeagal shaft with three constrictions. Remarks. This species resembles H. prasinus, but can be easily distinguished from the latter by: 1) aedeagal processes subapical; 2) aedeagal shaft constricted in caudal view at 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 of its length in dorsal/ventral view.
