Deir ez-Zur, Euphrates (Halabiyyeh), 35°41'N, 39°49'E, at light, 17.-18.VI.1998, leg. Chvojka (cAss). C o m m e n t: Micrillus irakensis had been recorded only from Iraq and Israel. The above specimen from Syria represents a new country record.
