- The objective of this study was to analyze the indexation and classification of criminal cases with Gender Perspective allocated as Violent Deaths of Women - Femicides in the State of São Paulo. A descriptive study is anchored in a Domain Analysis (Tennis, 2002; 2003; Hjørland, 1995; 1997; 1998; 2002; 2003 and 2005), based on document cartography oriented along the lines of Rolnik (1989). It has been noted that there is a social demand that emerges from both feminist, LGBTQI + and human rights social movements for an equity of rights that has been gaining ample space in academic debates and that they need reliable data so that they can measure the national scenario with likelihood. That way, it can be promoted, created and monitored the protection of women rights public policies. Such action is curbed by the “inaccuracies”, “distortions” and “improbability” present in the criminal proceedings vocabulary, which make it difficult to retrieve information.
