- Euptychoides Forster, 1964 Euptychoides: Forster 1964: 97. Type species. Euptychia saturnus Butler, 1867: 479, pl. 39, fig. 19. ― by original designation. Euptychoides Forster, 1964 is a subject of a taxonomic revision by the authors and collaborators, however, given the fact that Euptychoides appears to be a highly polyphyletic genus (see Nakahara et al. 2016), we decided to describe this rather distinctive species herein.
