  • This deliverable describes the enhancements of OpenAIRE Services with respect to planned and requested end user functionalities. In particular, this document elaborates on the following services and related areas: ◦ How the Validator Service will ensure better quality of the metadata coming from repositories, while facing the challenge to support larger number of records and new APIs. ◦ On the aggregation level, it is explained how efforts on metadata analysis and proper transformation mappings of the original metadata will result to better metadata quality for the end users. ◦ Ways of improving end user interaction with Open AIRE, and in particular how users/researchers can help in the enrichment and validation of data (errors and duplicate identification). ◦ Enhanced LOD Services to interlink and integrate of OpenAIRE data with other datasets (e.g., WikiCite, CORDIS and WikiBase ERC). ◦ How the Broker Service will be extended to offer subscriptions for repositories and to support new functionalities for the Research Community Dashboard. ◦ Scaling up the Usage Metrics Services and extending it with visualization and reporting features. ◦ Information Space Interlinking Services to allow OpenAIRE to serve any requesting data source with enrichment functionalities. ◦ Amnesia improvements to simplify the anonymization procedures, support new algorithms and larger number of datasets that can be anonymized. ◦ What kinds of enhancements will be applied to the emerging OpenAIRE DMP service to ensure coverage of community based templates and requests, and improvements to make the interface more engaging to researchers.
