- The influence of the iron oxide on a polymorphic state and thin structure of cubic solid solutions of (ZrO2)0.9(Y2O3)0.1−x(Fe2O3)x system was studied. It was shown that Fe2O3 essentially increases the efficiency of Y2O3 as the structure stabilizer due to the possible formation of Y—Fe—O compound, which is isomorphous to cubic ZrO2.
