- The objective of this study was to compare and analyse possible effects of the application and overload in the varible cardiac-respiratory, neuro-motor and somatic between stages of a cardiac rehabilitation program. The sample constituted of 11 coronary patients and symptomatic, with age varying from 41 to 69 years old, all of them of the male sex that live in Santa Maria city. The program comprehended a period of (4) four months or (48) forty-eight sessions, with 3 weekly sessions, and with the duration varying from 20 to 50 minutes. The prescription of the physical activity based on BRUCE and protocol in which in was used VO2 maximum as parameter of the cadiac frequency of training in each mesocicle. After this boarding of the functional capacity accomplished in ergometric mat, was realized the antropometric measure of weight, stature, and cutaneous fold in tricipital, subescapular, supra-iliac and bicipital region. For the equation of DURNIN AND WOMERSLEY(1974) d = c - m x log 10 (sum of the 4 cutaneous fold). And for the fat percentage it was used SIRI(1961), in formula %G = (4,95/D - 4,5)x 100. In the evaluation of the flexibility degree it was used videographic method, in that the points were digitized through the video position analyzer VPA 1000, in which on the present sutdy we used (pre-test and post-test). The analysis of the results was showed through several items, that are treat according to their necessities which was discussed on the following way: a) Results and anlysis of the cardiac-respiratory; b) Results and anlysis of the neuro-motor(flexibility degree); c) Results and antropometric analysis and d) Results and analysis of the relative corporal fat. In function of the results obtained, we can conclude that there was significant differences to dependent sample between the pre-test and the post-tests p < 0.05, in the variable somatical cardiac-respiratory, neuro-moving. It concludes that, the program of the physical activity through the application of the overload, it propritiates a progression of the physical condition of each patient, respecting a functional evaluation the referent criterions of the factors of intensity, duration, frequency rhythm of progression in function of the applied loads. Whith this, it searched a rational and methodologic proposal in order to get a better quality of life.
