- The article is devoted to research of legal nature of forgiveness of debt as a right-depriving jural fact in the obligation sphere of civil law. The conditions of application of forgiveness of debt, and also mechanism of discontinuance of obligation by this ground are explored. Factors which determine the moment of origin of jural fact in the form of forgiveness of debt are analysed.
