- Recently, a set of combination methods has been proposed aimed at improving the efficiency of reconfigurable security tools by optimizing the synthesis of recognition modules that maximize the benefits of different matching schemes. In this work, we discuss the use of well-known off-the-shelf reconfigurable accelerators (RA) for implementing such methods. Characteristics of real RAs are considered, examples of their use for the techniques of the mentioned methods are given.
