- This paper presents the development and implementation of a normative, quantitative goal oriented technique - PATTERN. The model PATTERN is developed by authors to whom the performance improvement is set as the main goal, while managers at the top and middle managerial positions at Eurobank EFG were in the role of experts. The results of this paper show that PATTERN method needs to be considered for further professional development in all business areas, since it provides more objectivity within the decision making in long-term planning within a complex business environment. Besides contribution to science, this quantitative technique can have practical implementation in all industries.
