- The set of contemporary techno-economic, political and demographic processes labeled as 'globalization' produce an increase in the interdependence of humans and in the linguistic and cultural contact. This growth of the interrelationships between the different human groups is, for many cultures, a major change in the ecology responsible for its basic continuity, which can lead, for example, medium-sized communities to new scenarios in many aspects of their cultural and political life.
