- In this article we show two cases of modern operative treatment of complications after Monteggia fractures. Complications are specific because of growth of child's bone. In first case, after unrecognized luxation of proximal radioulnar joint, came to lengthening of about 2 cm. Corrective osteotomy was done with ulna lengthening (bone transplancy) and reconstruction of annular ligament (Bell-Tawse). In second case after ulna osteosynthesis and closed reposition of radioulnar joint, reluxation happened. Corrective osteotomy was done on ulna and annular ligament reconstruction (Bell-Tawse). After immobilization and rehabilitation results were good. That makes a point for active treatment.
