  • Thin-film coated radiofrequency cavities exhibit a quality factor decrease with increasing acceleration gradient. INFN LNL has in the frame of the EC H2020 funded EASITrain project developed a method to mitigate the Q-slope of superconducting Nb on Cu films using a thick film of Nb. This document describes the process. The detailed method is available through an NDA, subject to conditions that have to be agreed between the parties.
