- The management and maintenance of medical equipments are extremely important to ensure the high quality and reliability of these systems, since that any error in their operation has consequences and direct impacts on patients' lives. Today medical imaging equipments are essentials to support the appropriate diagnoses and treatments choices. Thus, its use has become increasingly common and from this arise the need for studies on quality issues and maintenance of these equipment. The present work consists in a comparative evaluation of the radiodiagnostic equipment modalities of one company according to the incidence of corrective maintenance for one year. Radiodiagnostic modalities evaluated were X-ray, mammography, computed tomography and advanced therapies. Among them, it was observed that the computed tomography is the one that showed the highest number of corrective maintenance occurrences per unit of active equipment.
