- Teaching profession is especially important for Ukrainian society during the European integration, economic and political globalization, the rapid development of science and technology, because the teacher is the founder of a future state, preparing the next generation to carry out social, professional duties, creates a culture of the next generation. Unfortunately, new trends that characterize the status of teachers of educational institutions denominated in partial lowering the prestige of teachers' work. One of the reliable sources raise the prestige of the teaching profession may be historical and pedagogical analysis of professional status of teachers as productive updating mechanisms for training and education to meet the needs of society and one of the factors of the professional status of teachers is to organize cooperation between university and school. Established forms of cooperation among university existed: a lecture for teachers of schools, colleges, students; lectures on educational promotion for parents at schools, clubs, businesses; parent organization of lectures; seminars; consultations with teachers, excursions with teachers and students, creating learning tools, helping pioneer camp schools, drawing up guidelines for teachers on various forms of work with students, sports competitions; development of a unified plan of chief of the departments of the schools to help the city and region, as well as the plan of the departments in the basic school.
