  • The current investigation examine the fresh, mechanical and durability properties of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) made with different proportions of (0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%) of Coarse Recycled Aggregate (RCA) in place of Natural Coarse Aggregates (NCA) along the optimum replacement (10%) of Natural Fine Aggregates (NFA) with Coal Bottom Ash (CBA). The study inferences that the incorporation of RCA up to 50% along with 10% CBA have increased the performance of the SCC mixes in terms of mechanical as well as durability properties. It has been found that the addition of Metakaolin (MK) has improved the aforementioned properties significantly at all ages of curing and a better performance has been achieved even at full replacement (100%) of NCA with RCA.
