Daftar Isi:
- Titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) has high specific strength and stiffness so that finds its applications in automobile and aerospace components. Since Ti alloy is very hard it is quite challenging to the machining by conventional machining. Abrasive Water jet machining is more suitable to machine Ti alloy as there is the absence of Heat affected zone. The objective of the work is to optimize the response parameters like Material removal rate and surface roughness while varying the input parameters like pressure, stand-off distance, abrasive size and mass flow rate. The influence of process parameters was found while machining Ti alloy using Abrasive Water Jet Machining.
