- In a previous note, it was suggested W(x,t), the time-dependent wavefunction, serves as a normalization function for conditional probabilities P(p/x) and P(E/t) and changes like exp(ip-iEt) under x->x+b and t-> t+a (a,b infinitesimal) except that p and E are replaced with conditional averages. In this note we first try to examine the physical implications of this and secondly, try to consider the meaning of average energy for the time-dependent Schrodinger case.
