- Modern kısa öykü batıda doğmuş ve kısa zamanda bütün dünyada olduğu gibi Arap dünyasında ve Suriye'de temsilciler bulmuştur. Suriye'de günümüz öykücülerinden Ömer el-Hammûd da bu edebi türü başarıyla temsil edenlerden birisidir. Şu ana kadar dört öykü kitabı yayımlanmış olan yazarın bu çalışmanın konusunu teşkil eden eseri aynı ismi taşıyan kitabının ikinci öyküsüdür. Eserde tarihle bugünün iç içe girdiği bir olay örgüsü bulunur. Yazar, modern kısa öykü teknik ve yöntemlerini başarılı bir şekilde uyguladığı eserinde, tarihin parlak bir sayfasını daha güzel bir geleceğin inşasına katkı sağlamak amacıyla anlatır.Omer al-Hammud's Short Story Titled "Sukutu Hirakle"Modern short stories were born in the West and found many representatives both in Arabic World and Syria, as in the whole world, in a very short time. Omer el-Hammud, a contemporary Syrian story writer who has published four story books up to now, is one of the successful representatives of this literary genre. His work we dealt with in this study is his second story, which has the same title as this study. The story has a plot in which the history and modern day is interconnected. The author, who applies modern story techniques in his work, successfully narrates his story to make a contribution to build a pleasant future based on the bright sides of the past.https://www.marife.org/marife/article/view/671
