- Lexically-semantic analysis of a significant amount of authorial adjective neologisms (5124 units) in Ukrainian poetry of XX–XXI centuries indicates, that semantic formations, specified by ethno-cultural specific – socalled cultural concepts, are widespread in structure of described units. However, a holistic study of concepts as quantum of the national cultural consciousness of Ukrainians on the example of neologism lexis is not carried out still, that determines the urgency of the subject of the proposed research. Therefore, the main purpose of the article is to analyze specific of the key ethno-cultural concepts in semantic structure of occasional adjectives in Ukrainian poetry of the XX–XXI centuries. Achievement of the intended goal involves the following tasks: to define the essence of the conception of «cultural concept»; to describe in detail the structure of the most important concepts of Ukrainian linguistic consciousness; to find out what kind of connotative semes actualize linguistic and cultural concepts as part of authorial adjective innovations. Ethno-cultural semantic in word creation of poets of analyzed period is acquired in authorial adjectivеs, that contains in its structure the most impressive cultural concepts of Ukrainian language – thought, idea, will, fate, heart, soul, Ukraine, speech, song, beauty, sadness, yearning and so on. The analysis of above material shows, that the semantics of «cultural» words is finally revealed in contexts, (where linguistic and cultural aspect of speech is determined), by means of subjective experience and extra-linguistic factors. However, in all concepts own description can be proved only to a certain point, beyond which spiritual reality is underlined, that can’t be described, but can only be experienced. Thereby, the information, founded in the author’s adjective neologisms with component-concept, is the exponent of spiritual culture and ethnospecificity of perception of reality by Ukrainian people.
