  • Pregnancy is a unique state of interaction between two dynamic systems, the mother and the baby. Since each baby has a complement of the father‘s essence, the woman develops a special talent of immunological, physiological and anatomical tolerance to the new arrangement. There are many disease states that are as a result of father’s invasion and pregnancy induced hypertension is one of them. It is an autoimmune condition where the mother rejects a foreign body which is the baby.
