- The spectral energy distributions of 450 stars classified as classical cepheids are fitted with model atmospheres and a dust component (if required). Together with the best available distance (many from GDR2) the Hertzsprung-Russell and period-radius and period-bolometric relations are fitted. Outliers in these diagrams are likely NOT classical cepheids.
