- Subject of research – a set of organizational and managerial relations that arise in the process of state functions of ensuring economic security. The purpose of the article is to develop scientific methodological and practical recommendations for rationalizing the institutional basis for ensuring the country’s economic security in the context of protecting Ukraine’s national interests. Methodology of work – methods of analysis and synthesis (in determining the functions and tasks of the state in the field of economic security); comparison and generalization (with systematization of threats to Ukraine’s economic security). The results of the work – the necessity of developing a complex of organizational and managerial measures at the state level in order to ensure the national economic sovereignty of Ukraine is grounded. The key directions of institutionalization of the process of ensuring economic security of Ukraine are identified. Based on generalization of the main provisions of normative legal acts in the field of ensuring economic security of Ukraine, the tasks and functions of the state are defined in relation to the implementation of this process. The expediency of elaborating a separate normative legal act, which would regulate the distribution of rights and responsibilities for the performance of functions for ensuring economic security, is grounded. The necessity of elaboration of organizational and managerial mechanism of ensuring Ukraine’s economic security is substantiated and its elements are defined, namely subjects and functions of ensuring economic security, regulatory and methodological basis of the implementation of this process. Conclusions – at this stage of the research we can consider such elements of the organizational and managerial mechanism of ensuring economic security of Ukraine as: the subjects and functions of providing economic security and the legal and methodological basis for the implementation of this process.
