- Metal Inert Gas welding has been applied in manufacturing industries for more than fifteen years. Experiments are conducted using RSM design. The weld parameters considered in this study are welding current, gas flow rate, wire feed speed and nozzle gun inside diameter with hardness as response. The weld parameters are optimized for better hardness using grey based Taguchi method.
