- The formation of protective oxide coatings on aluminum alloy AMg3 by plasma electrolytic oxidation was carried out. The features of the surface morphology and the internal structure of the formed layers were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy. Microhardness, Young's modulus and wear characteristics of oxide coatings have been determined.
