- The article analyzed the dynamics of readiness of lecturers to tutor activity in higher education institutions of III – IV accreditation levels during the pedagogical experiment. Motivational-value, operative and cognitive components that represent the structure of the lecturers’ readiness to tutor are characterized. Four levels of readiness are defined: low, medium, acceptable and high. Detailed description of the pedagogical experiment is given. In total, 50 lecturers of the Primary Education Faculty of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University took part in the experiment. The main research methods were observation, questioning and conversation. The technology of training of distance learning tutors (organizers) of higher education institutions of III – IV accreditation levels was put into practice. Its effectiveness was experimentally tested. The pedagogical experiment proved the efficacy of the suggested technology and showed that the overwhelming majority of the teachers have risen to a higher level of readiness to tutor activity. According to the results of statistical processing of the participants questionnaires a significant increase of all parameters of level indicators that were measured is stated. The study of lecturers’ readiness to tutor activity in higher education institutions of III – IV accreditation levels makes it possible to provide distance learning in the system of continuing education for primary school teachers.
