- The studying of the peculiarities of national and cultural specificity of language fiction is an actual problem of modern linguistics. It’s a big space of classic and modern Ukrainian literary language for a significant and potential research. The purpose of this publication is to convince that bionomens of a literary text as fragments of national language world are worth studying closely to the broad cultural context; in the analysis of the discursive author’s speech it is necessary to pay special attention to such verbal units of Ukrainian lingual mentality. Our task is to find out the basis of national specificity of biological nomenclature units and to prove that features of Ukrainian ethnos can be detected through relationship “language - culture”. Revealed that bionomens as a part of a language picture of the world serve as transmitters of historical memory and as carriers of ethno-cultural information in the language.
