- The article represents analysis of normative backgrounds for health saving competence formation which are built in the State Standard of Primary General Education. Possibilities of educational subjects content of educational trend “Health and Physical Education” in the formation of health saving competence of primary school pupils have been considered. An experimental technique of health saving competence of primary school pupils’ formation in the process of “Health Basics” studies has been described. Main elements of the experimental technique have been singled out: educational tasks system, directed on the formation of creative thinking of pupils and understanding the principles of self-regulation of personal emotional states; the use of problem situations; the background on the types of educational information comprehension by pupils.
