- Instability and instability of the enterprise’s environment caused by the transformation of socio– economic phenomena are the main characteristic of the modern development of the Ukrainian economy. In order for enterprises to be able to operate in such unstable conditions, they need to develop and implement a mechanism for ensuring sustainable economic development.. The economic stability of the enterprise is often combined with ensuring its competitiveness. For successful operation and sustainable development, enterprises must be competitive both in the domestic and foreign markets. Only through continuous improvement, the use of the latest technologies and methods of organization of production and management of enterprises will be able to achieve and maintain a stable position in the market. The main principles of ensuring the mechanism of sustainable economic development of the enterprise and its key components are considered. The factors influencing the economic stability of the enterprise are investigated; the interconnection of the components of economic stability. It is proposed to display them schematically and analyze their content. It is proved that realization of the mechanism of maintenance of sustainable economic development of the enterprise will provide opportunities for restoration of production and economic capacities and ensuring the sustainability of development.
