- The article deals with modern scholars’ approaches to the determination of the essence of the process of training future choreographers for the professional activity. The training of future choreographers for the professional activity has been defined as the process of the formation of students’ professional orientations and motives of the activity, mastering a system of knowledge about modern innovative forms and methods of teaching in the real and virtual environment by future choreographers in the process of the professional training, the formation of skills, the development of necessary professional qualities for the effective formation of the professional competence. It has been proved that future choreographers’ professional competence for the professional activity is determined by students’ ability to use the fundamentals and methodology of choreography in the professional activity, to plan and organize the process of choreographic training taking into account the sociocultural situation and the level of the development of students’ choreographic abilities in the educational system in the real and virtual environment.
