- This article discusses the results of ecological problems study associated with environmental pollution by heavy metals. The key to keep the health of population is to monitor the environment, the pollution level and its effects on the incidence of respiratory organs. Respiratory diseases are the main indicator of environmental contamination. The purpose was to study the effect of atmospheric pollution by heavy metals on the incidence of respiratory system of people living in clean and polluted regions of Kazakhstan.
