- This paper is an attempt to put into contestation the point of view of economics and that of Christian ethics on the issue of migration, with particular attention to unskilled migrant workers. Economically, the material benefit of the migrant worker business surpasses the moral and legal problems affecting a minority group of unskilled migrant workers. Christian ethics, however, challenges the economic calculation using more fundamental factors as starting points, namely the concept of human worth and the problem of individualizing human being.
