- The flow of experimental media texts use of different nature and different contents in the process of future teachers’ intercultural competence formation has been characterized. Different forms and methods of working with media texts in the process of intercultural competence formation have been revealed on the grounds of comparative ethnography: film-club, “flipped class”, axiologic-ethnographic analysis and so on. Possibilities of certain network resources (the set of short documentaries “Pride of Ukraine”, “Lullabies of the World” by MetronomFilmsComp, “The World Inside-out” documentary series and others) as for the components formation of future teachers’ and educators’ intercultural competence have been revealed. In the experimental group Е3, where the work with media texts was introduced, positive dynamics has been revealed: as for the personalized component of future teachers’ and educators’ intercultural competence on the level of 55.3% for satisfactory level (41.6% in the group Е1, 49.7% in the groupЕ2, 18.8% n the control group К3) and 5.5% for the advanced level (1.8% in the groupЕ1, 4.3% in the groupЕ2, 1.5% in the group К3); as for the cognitive component of the researched competency – 65.7% for the satisfactory level (53.4% in the group Е1, 58.3% in the group Е2, 9% in the group К3) and 11.4% for the advanced level (10% in the group Е1, 9.5% in the group Е2, 3% in the group К3). The pedagogical experiment results provide all the reasons to state, that the work with media texts facilitates the development of the personalised and cognitive components of the intercultural competence of future pedagogues.
