- The role of the mobilization potential of the state in the conditions of socio-political transformations is analyzed. The main resource components of the mobilization potential are allocated: economic, demographic, military and others. The definition of political potential as an intellectual component of the mobilization potential is proposed. The theoretical principles of analysis of the main directions of socio-political transformations, in particular, democratization and modernization are considered. The example of Ukraine revealed the main shortcomings of the implementation of modernization initiatives. The influence of political potential on contradictory results of transformational processes in some countries of the world is highlighted. It is established that qualitative-quantitative characteristics of the mobilization potential of the state are the necessary conditions for achieving effective and positive results of socio-political transformations.
