- Trade historically has always been the sphere of activity of scammers. However, at present, there is no separate article in the Criminal Code aimed at responsibility for fraud in the sphere of trade. The modern version of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code does not disclose the content of fraud and does not qualify these crimes, it delineates them only in terms of the damage caused. This leads to a distortion of the essence and motives of the crimes being committed and, accordingly, to incorrect law enforcement practice. There are also other problems that affect the content of this article, which requires elimination.
