- The article proves the necessity of developing a list of indicators for assessing an economic stability of logistics system of a production enterprise. The author’s definition of “economic stability of logistics system” is given. It suggests that the economic stability of logistics system should be estimated on the basis of general indicators of its functioning. The generalized indicator to evaluate the economic stability of logistics system of a production enterprise is suggested. The indicator considers net profit from logistics activities and logistics costs. We recommend that logistics costs should be calculated as the sum of total current costs and depreciation. We prove that the indicator of economic stability can be employed to evaluate and analyze the efficiency of functioning of distribution channels, to develop measures to change their structure and configuration. Restrictions on the use of the generalized indicator of economic stability in practical calculations are given.
