- Анотація. У статті досліджено роль професійно-технічних навчальних закладів у забезпеченні ефективного функціонування економіки країни. Розкрито, що в останні десятиліття в Україні цим навчальним закладам не приділялося достатньої уваги, тому їх кількість, а також кількість підготовлених ними спеціалістів зменшилися вдвічі. З метою підвищення ролі цих закладів у підготовці висококваліфікованих робітників та забезпеченні динамічного розвитку національної економіки запропоновано заходи для підвищення престижності робітничих професій. Annotation. The article explores the role of vocational and technical educational institutions in ensuring the effective functioning of the country's economy. It is revealed that in recent decades in Ukraine, these educational institutions have not received sufficient attention, so their number, as well as the number of specialists trained by them, have halved. In order to increase the role of these institutions in the training of highly skilled workers and ensure the dynamic development of the national economy, measures to increase the prestige of the working professions are proposed.
