- Special discussions about Muryalelana, his history, his career, and his works in the framework of Javanese literary inventory and documentation have never been done by anyone; whereas its presence in the literary treasures of modern Java is quite important. Therefore, in this study it is specifically discussed about Muryalelana's biography and his career as poet, criterion, critic, and educator as well as his works. Based on observations made it can be seen that in the literature of modern Javanese literature Muryalelana more properly referred to as a critic because he wrote more works of criticism than other works (poetry and short story).
