- The article analyzes the results of experimental and experimental testing of the methodology of forming the professional competence of future technology teachers. A fundamentally new approach to the definition of a methodical system for the training of future teachers of labor education and technologies as designers of clothing is proposed: orientation on the formation of not only substantive, but also super-objective key (social-communicative, cognitive, and informational) competencies. The competent model of the formation of the personality of the teacher of labor education and technology as a designer of clothing is defined as one of the leading sources and regulators for constructing the structure and content of vocational training. In the course of the research, the method of forming the professional competence of future technology teachers as designers of clothing was substantiated during the study of the content module "Design of clothing" of the discipline "Processing of structural materials". The purpose of this article is to analyze the results of experimental and experimental testing of the methodology for the formation of professional competence in the design of clothing for future teachers of technology and labor. Were determined levels that indicate the degree of their readiness for designing clothing (high, medium and low) on the indicators of epistemological, axiological, transformational-communicative and artistic and technological competence. At the beginning of the experiment, there were no students who could be said to have formed a high level of readiness for design design of clothing. Repeated analysis according to the criteria defined at the initial stage of the study, based on the results of pedagogical diagnosis, confirmed the data obtained as a result of the final questionnaire after the application of an experimental model for the formation of future teachers of labor training and technology of professional competence in design of clothing. In general, we can say that in the process of experimental research it was possible to confirm the hypothesis that the process of forming the professional competence of future teachers of labor education and technologies as designers of clothing in a pedagogical institution of higher education will be effective if the following conditions are met: integration of pedagogical and designer training into a unit based on the optimization of the ratio of subject-professional and key components of the professional competence of future technology teachers and labor in education That process. During the research, it was proved that the model of professional training of future teachers of technology and labor as designers of clothing is close to optimal. This is confirmed by its compliance with the following parameters: the effectiveness of the proposed model for the professional competence of this type is 40.0%. Thus, this model can be recognized as effective, since it provides a significant increase in the professional competence of future teachers of labor education and design technology clothing.
