- This paper studies a distributed implementation of the total transmit power minimization problem for downlink (DL) cellular Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. In particular, we study the convergence of the optimization problem is solved in a distributed manner and further determine the set of parameters should be exchanged between base stations (BSs) to preserve optimality. Numerical results manifest that the distributed approach converges to the global optimum after a few iterations with the very high probability.
