- The study reveals the status of chromosomal polymorphism in natural breeding populations of Green Barbet, Megalaima zeylanica caniceps (Franklin) from different regions of Madhya Pradesh. The study is based on conventional air and flame drying method and the inferences have been drawn after thorough investigation of more than three dozens of individuals with due emphasis on banding pattern.
