- The article is devoted to the discussion in modern civil lav on the possibility of an alimony contract to be the basis for the appearance of alimony obligations, the decision of which directly depends on the investigation of the potential circle of subjects of this treaty and the conditions for its conclusion. As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to single out two types of alimony contracts - maintenance contracts aimed at determining the procedure for exercising ex lege rights, and alimony contracts aimed at the emergence of alimentary legal relations. It is substantiated that the different degree of social significance of such contracts determines the specifics of approaches to their regulatory regulation.
