- This article deals with studying the concept of linguistic conceptualization of childhood in phraseology. It considers the concept of childhood, as well as its image in the Russian and Chinese linguistic views of the world. We performed a comparative linguocultural analysis of individual Russian and Chinese phrasemes with the childhood semantics. The obtained results include, first of all, the differences between the methods of specification and conceptualization of the childhood concept in Russian idioms/Chinese Chéngyŭ, as well as Russian collocations/Chinese Guànyòngyǔ, and secondly, the typical representations of childhood or children from the viewpoints of the Chinese and Russians.
