- A poster presentation was given during the workshop dedicated to the remote sensing society of the Baltic Sea region “Baltic from Space”. The workshop was organized by ESA in Helsinki (Finland), during 29-31 March, 2017. The presentation aims to investigate the cyanobacteria surface accumulation (SCUM) in hypereutrophic Curonian Lagoon from satellite imagery. To tune the scum identification algorithm for future synergistic use of Landsat-8 and Sentinel-2 data for further long-term investigations. The research started under the FP7 INFORM project. The developed EO-based products to derive cyanobacteria scum will be a part of H2020 EOMORES service and available for the users.
