  • This study aims to describe students' physics learning motivation with Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) model. which is the subject of research class 8-2 as many as 30 people, while the object of this study is the motivation to learn physics. Data collection is done by spreading the questionnaire of learning motivation. Obtaining the average value of student learning motivation cycle I, II, III that is equal to 3.06, 3.3, 3.55 and student response to learning is very good. The conclusion from this research that the application of POE model can increase learning motivation, teacher activity and students already reflect the implementation of POE model, teacher teaching skill is increasing and students are happy in learning with POE model
