  • This study examined the effect of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) to the mathematical Problem Solving ability of student class VII MTs Thamrin Yahya. This study was a quasi-experimental reseach (Quasi Experiment). The population in this study were students of class VII MTs Thamrin Yahya. The sampling technique used randomly (simple random sampling) so that obtained sample of students in the class VII1 and the class VII3. Data collected by test and dokumentsi. Data analysis techniques using t test. From the analysis of the data obtained tcount = 3.00 and ttable = 1,99 because t count > t table so that H0 is rejected. This means that there was the effect of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) to the mathematical Problem Solving ability of student class VII MTs Thamrin Yahya.
