- ABSTRACTIndonesia is the country with the largest acreage of palm oil in the world, amounting to 34.18 percent of world palm acreage but ranks second in terms of world production. Achievement of theaverage production of palm Indonesia in 2004-2008 stood at 75.54 million tonnes of fresh fruitbunches (FFB) or 40.26 percent of the total world production of palm oil (Fauzi, 2012). The purposeof this study is (1) To determine how the image characteristics and oil palm farming in the villageSuka Maju. (2) To analyze the effect on the income characteristics of oil palm farmers in the villageSuka Maju. The research was implemented in March to June 2016 data collection methods used inthis study were interviews, questionnaires and direct observations by the respondent. The studyresults showed that net revenue Based on the results of the oil palm farmers in the village Suka Majuacquired during the year amounted to Rp 660 495 030 ha / year with an average income of Rp12,950,883 ha / year.
