- The purpose of this study was to determine the type of error that made by the students in solvingalgebraic operations fragment form at class of VIII MTs PP Raudatussalam Rambah. This research isa descriptive survey research education. The data collection technique used was the technique of thetest description. This research was done on November of the academic year 2015/2016 in the classVIII MTs PP Raudatussalam Rambah with samples from eighth grade students. The types of errorsmade in solving student test ajabar operation are: (1) The error does not equate denominatorfractions; (2) Errors concept of simplifying fractions using the algebra of the division; (3) Errorsconcept of addition and subtraction of numbers algebraic form; (4) Errors integer multiplicationconcept of positive and negative; (5) Error alter the distribution of fractional algebraic form into afractional multiplication of the algebra; 6) One in simplifying fractions that have variable; (7) Errormultiplying numbers algebraic form; (8) The error does not write variable; (9) Do not answer thequestion; (10) An error in the algebra factoring operations.
