- Horticulture is one of the agricultural commodities that can provide a source of income for the country for the prosperity of society as a whole. As for some types of seeded fruit Indonesia is expected to compete in the international market are: banana, mango, orange, mangosteen, salak, pineapple, papaya, rambutan, durian, watermelon, jackfruit and Duku . With the description above, the purpose of the study is 1). To determine how the income earned from the cultivation of watermelon. 2). To determine how the costs incurred in the cultivation of watermelon farm. 3). To determine the feasibility of farming watermelons. The sampling method is done directly from the farmers in the village Rambah Muda watermelon with census method, because the population of the location study and all five samples used as a sample for the achievement of the objectives of the study, the data used is primary data and secondary data . From theresults of research conducted on the analysis of farm income in the village of melon Rambah Muda Downstream District of Rokan Hulu get admission Rp.36,960,000,- with the average cost of expenditure - around the average farmer respondents Rp.11.200,- Andget advantage Rp.18.544.153,- Farmers sell their product samples for Rp 3.400/kg.
